Do you have a favorite type of restaurant you would like to see open in Fayetteville?
What about a specific store you would love to be able to shop at within the city?
The City of Fayetteville wants to know! To ensure the City is pursuing the businesses its residents want, it has launched the first annual “Retail, Restaurant, and Neighborhood Services” survey. Your input will help the City recruit goods and services into areas of need and identify which types of retailers and restaurants the residents of Fayetteville want to see locate here.
How accessible are existing goods and services to your home or place of employment? Wish a specific business was closer? We also want to know where you would like to see these businesses locate. The map below lets you drop different types of pins and tell us exactly where you would like to see different types of retailers, restaurants, and neighborhood services open in the future. Please be sure to visit the map as well as complete the survey below!

The City of
Fayetteville proactively pursues a wide range of businesses to ensure its
residents have local access to the goods and services they want. This survey
will assist efforts by the City’s Department of Economic Vitality to bring the
businesses you want to the locations you’d like to see them.
The survey asks
a series of questions pertaining to three different types of businesses:
·Retail: A wide range of consumer goods and
services sold through brick-and-mortar channels, including grocery stores.
·Restaurants/Drinking
Establishments: From
casual eateries to fine dining, including local breweries and drinking
establishments.
·Neighborhood
Services: Businesses
you’d like to see within walking distance of your place of residence. This
could be a coffee shop, a restaurant, a smaller grocery store (bodega), or a
number of different retail businesses and services.
At the end of
the survey you will see a link to visit our interactive City map, on which you
can drop a virtual pin to show us exactly where and what kinds of retail and
restaurant businesses you’d like to see in Fayetteville in the future!
