Artists, members of the creative economy and Fayetteville residents, your input is needed! Thank you for taking the time to provide your expertise and feedback with this questionnaire, your insight will help the City as it shapes the next Economic Vitality Plan. Your feedback will be provided to the Fayetteville Arts Council and the Department of Economic Vitality.
Background and Context of the Planning Effort:
Kickoff: May 2021
Target delivery to City Council: Summer 2023
Data aggregation, 30+ committee, focus group, public input and Steering Committee sessions
The previous Economic Vitality Plan was the "Fayetteville First Plan" that was adopted by City Council in late 2017.
Much has occurred, both before and during the planning process: the COVID-19 pandemic, economic downturn, the housing market has worsened, inflation, etc.
Goals, strategies, and action items pertaining to the creative economy will be developed for each of the plan's three sections.
The creative economy influences each of these three sections! Fayetteville's next Economic Vitality Plan needs to include goals, strategies and action items for the creative economy, and staff needs your expertise!
