This is your chance to tell us what matters most to you. Whether it’s indoor lap lanes, outdoor splash features, wellness pools or added recreation space, your input will help ensure the facility reflects the needs, priorities, and expectations of our community.
Following recommendations from the City’s 2023 Park and Recreation System Master Plan to explore opportunities for new or updated aquatic facilities, the Parks, Natural Resources and Cultural Affairs Department launched a feasibility study in 2024. The aquatic center concept was developed based on feedback received during the first public survey.

The City of Fayetteville is considering building an aquatic center. Aquatic centers may have a wide range of amenities- some with indoor facilities, some with outdoor facilities and some with both. Some facilities combine more traditional recreation centers with the aquatic facilities.
